Public option dies in Senate Committee

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

http://tinyurl.com/yet2495

Ha ha. Maybe there is hope yet. Barack Obama's plan to incrementally introduce single payer socialized medicine to this country has suffered a setback.
Democratic efforts to include a taxpayer-financed "public" health insurance option in the emerging health reform bill fell short in two crucial test votes in the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday afternoon.
There you have it. It looks like the voice of the people was finally heard. All of the protests at those townhall meetings last month might not have been in vain. But we have to keep up the pressure since the other side won't be giving up anytime soon. Obama and his friends might try to get a public option in through the back door by calling it something else such as a "coop." We can't be fooled by that.

As I have said before on this blog, the only way to fix health care in this country is to get government the hell out of health care once and for all. The schemes being cooked up by Obama and friends to get the government more involved in health care are exactly the wrong idea and they will backfire.

The government has got to get out of the way and let private health insurance companies do business. Market forces would take over in that event and medical cost inflation would be slowed. For one thing, getting government out of health care would greatly reduce the red tape and paperwork that the government imposes upon doctors and hospitals. That in and of itself would help to control costs.

Let's leave it up to doctors and their patients to decide what is best. As long as the government is involved it is a recipe for trouble. Just look at how dysfunctional Medicare and Veteran's Administration health care are. Both are run by the federal government. Need we say more?

Then we have got to get medical tort reform passed. That will be a difficult task given the fact that trial lawyers have the Democratic Party in their pocket. But as long as doctors are forced to practice defensive medicine and pay high medical malpractice insurance premiums, there will be upward pressure on medical costs.

We in the USA have the best doctors and nurses in the world, and we have the best facilities. We also spend more on health care than any other country does. Yes, there are problems, mostly rising costs. These problems need to be addressed. But what we don't need is Barack Obama's socialized medicine. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water.

The UN Must be Dissolved

Saturday, September 26, 2009

I want to reprint Mark Noonan's excellent article on what is wrong with the UN.
I mean really; its a horrendous, anti-human organization. Why? Well, because as Mark Steyn points out, when you mix tyrants with democrats, you get a tyrant-dominated body…and then we have to have this:
By declining to distinguish between the foreign minister of Slovenia and the foreign minister of, say, Sudan, you normalize not merely the goofier ad libs of a Qaddafi but far darker pathologies. The day after the president of the United States addressed the U.N. General Assembly, the prime minister of Israel took to the podium, and held up a copy of the minutes of the Wansee Conference at which German officials planned the “Final Solution” to their Jewish problem. This is the pathetic state to which the U.N. has been reduced after six decades: The Jew-hatred of Ahmadinejad and others is so routine that a sane man has to stand up in the global parliament and attempt to demonstrate to lunatics that the Holocaust actually happened.
As long as we are tied to an organization which claims that the tyrants of China are the moral equals of the leaders of the United States, we will not have an international body capable of improving world conditions. All the UN does now is to serve as a fig-leaf for evil - we go through the motions and pretend we’re doing good while we’re actually enabling wicked men to continue in their evil unchecked.

Get U.S. out of the UN!
http://tinyurl.com/ycby39r

Mark Noonan is right, the UN should be dissolved, but failing that at least the USA should quit the UN, kick it out of New York City, and withhold all financial contributions to that dysfunctional organization.

Why should tyrants such as Ahmadinejad, Chavez, and Muammar al-Gaddafi be allowed to come to New York to spread their vile poison? We Americans have got to get a backbone and start standing up for our best interests. The vast majority of UN member states are governed by tin pot dictators who will see to it that American interests are never satisfied. Why aren't these people grateful for the fact that the US provides for over one half of the UN's operating budget? And what thanks do we get? The likes of Chavez walk all over us. Perhaps Chavez should start picking up the tab for the UN's expenses and see how he likes it.

The time is now for America to quit the UN. Of course it won't happen as long as Obama is in office because he likes it just fine that all of these little dictatorships are able to spit the USA in the eye. Hopefully, our next president will see things differently.

Appeaser-in-Chief

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Was today's speech by Obama at the UN General Assembly his most naive ever?
It’s always a bad sign when a US president gets several rounds of heavy applause at the UN General Assembly, as Barack Obama did this morning in New York. Needless to say, the loudest cheers from the gathering of world leaders came when he condemned the actions of a close US ally, Israel, in continuing to build settlements in the West Bank. You can always rely on attacks on the Israelis to generate the biggest roars of approval at any meeting of the United Nations, and Obama dutifully obliged.

The Assembly also mightily cheered Obama’s boast that the United States no longer condones “torture” (as if it ever did), a blatantly political swipe at the interrogation techniques of the previous government, which most Americans happen to back. The president’s decision to rejoin the UN Human Rights Council, a basket case of an organization that includes some of the world’s worst tyrannies, was also greeted warmly.
http://tinyurl.com/ne24d7

We all know that Obama is an Islamic sympathizer dating back to when he attended an Islamic school in Indonesia. He continued in that vein at the UN today by calling for an end to the Israeli "occupation" of the West Bank.

Here is a notice to Obama. Israel is not "occupying" the West Bank. The West Bank is an integral part of greater Israel which was given to the Jewish people by God Himself. Neither Obama nor anyone else has a moral right to call upon Israel to leave the West Bank. Israel won that land fair and square during the Six Day War in 1967 and asking Israel to give that land back would be tantamount to the United States giving back the American Southwest that it won in the Mexican War in 1846 to Mexico.

Obama's bias against Israel is palpable. Of course he always spouts the obligatory "the USA is a strong supporter of Israel" line, but then he turns right around and betrays that sentiment with anti Israeli rhetoric such as that given at the UN today. It's no wonder that he had tin pot dictators from around the Third World applauding him. Obama is betraying almost everything that the United States has stood for over the past sixty years when there was strong bipartisan support for Israel.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that Obama has an anti American agenda which will surrender America's best interests to dictators and tyrants such as Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He caved in the Russians with his plans to withdraw defensive missiles from Europe. He comes down on the side of leftist Latin American dictators with his support for overturning the democracy in Honduras. And he stabs Israel in the back.

This is a man who never should have been elected President of the United States. He is a disaster for this country. The damage that he is doing now will take years to undo once we get a legitimate president in office after the 2012 elections.

Israel says still has military option on Iran

Monday, September 21, 2009

Israel has not given up the option of a military response to Tehran's nuclear programme, senior officials said on Monday, after Russia's president said his Israeli counterpart assured him it would not attack Iran.
When Russia's President Medvedev said recently that "his Israeli counterpart assured him it would not attack Iran," I was skeptical to say the least. Why would Israel give up it's most realistic chance to stop Iran's nuclear program? And it turned out I was right. Israeli officials made it clear today that the nuclear option is still on the table.
The chief-of-staff of Israel's armed forces, Lieutenant-General Gabi Ashkenazi, later told Army Radio when pressed on whether Israel could attack Iran: "Israel has the right to defend itself and all options are on the table."
That's good to hear. When you have a belligerent neighbor bent on destroying you, letting them get nuclear weapons is out of the question to be sure. And depending on Barack Obama to take care of the problem through a regime of weak sanctions would certainly be foolhardy.

There doesn't seem to be much of a consensus among intelligence officials over just how close Iran is to actually getting a nuclear weapon, or whether or not Iran would have the ability to deliver such a weapon to a potential target such as Israel. But that uncertainty should be enough to unnerve Israel.

As small as Israel's total land mass is, it might take only one or two crude nuclear devices to destroy the whole country. Yes, it is widely rumored that Israel has a nuclear arsenal itself, but what good would that arsenal do for Israel if an Iranian first strike destroys the country?

The bottom line is that Israel must use any and all means to make sure that Iran is not ever able to go nuclear. The survival of Israel depends upon that. Israel's leaders know that, and that's why I didn't believe the Russian president when he tired to say that Israel assured him that Israel has taken attacking Iran off the table.

With Obama in the White House, Israel cannot be sure that the USA would offer military support in the event that a conflict between Israel and Iran were to break out. While such assistance would be welcome, I don't think it would be a required part of any Israeli attack plans. Israel has one of the best military forces in the world. If necessary, Israel could go it alone and still defeat Iran.

No attack on Iran is imminent at this time. It is only an option being considered by the Israelis. All peace loving people hope that some other non violent way might be found to stop Iran's nuclear program. But time is short. Israel cannot afford to wait for long. The madmen who control Iran had better realize that they don't have much time left to stop their nuclear program. Israel will most certainly do whatever is necessary to stop them one way or the other.

Betrayal of Eastern Europe - Health care for illegal aliens

Friday, September 18, 2009

There are two different stories in today's news that continue to corroborate what I have been saying all along that Barack Obama is an extreme leftist bent upon destroying everything that this great country stands for.

First of all, Obama has stabbed Eastern Europe in the back by selling out to the Russians on missile control.
Poles and Czechs voiced deep concern Friday at President Barack Obama's decision to scrap a Bush-era missile defense shield planned for their countries.

"Betrayal! The U.S. sold us to Russia and stabbed us in the back," the Polish tabloid Fakt declared on its front page.
Years of progress toward a free and prosperous post Soviet era Eastern Europe are in danger because of Obama's bungling. How can any European country trust the United States after this? But am I surprised? No, I am not. This sort of behavior is to be expected from Barack Obama. Vladimir Putin, the real power in Russia, must really be getting a kick out of this. Thanks to Obama the USA is coming off looking like a paper tiger. Not since the failed presidency of Jimmy Carter have we seen the spectacle of weak and indecisive US foreign policy. Now, if only the American people will kick Obama out of office after one term like they wisely did to Jimmy Carter, who by the way, has also became an absolutely reprehensible former president.

But not to be outdone by his betrayal of Eastern Europe, Obama has also betrayed his own word on the subject of health care for illegal aliens. After saying within the past few days that illegals would not get coverage under his so-called health care reform, Obama now says that we should get illegals covered anyway by making them legal.
President Obama said this week that his health care plan won't cover illegal immigrants, but argued that's all the more reason to legalize them and ensure they eventually do get coverage.
Joe Wilson was excoriated and forced to apologize for calling out Obama on his plans to cover illegals, and now it turns out the Representative Wilson was 100% correct. Obama plans to get them coverage through the back door by making them legal. And so it goes as Obama pounds one more nail into the coffin.

Are we seeing a pattern here yet folks? Just what has the last presidential election wrought? Since we do not have a parliamentary system of government, there is virtually no way to correct the mistake that the voters made in 2008 unto the elections of 2012. Let us all hope and pray that by then it won't be too late.

Obama snubs Fox News

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

I would have expected no less from Obama. He says that he wants an open dialogue but actually the opposite is true. He will be appearing on NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN interview shows this coming Sunday. What a love fest those shows will be given their liberal bias. And then to make matters worse, Obama will be appearing on David Letterman's late night talk show next week so that Letterman can kiss his ass.

The one network that Obama won't be appearing on of course is Fox. And the reason for that is obvious. He might actually get a hard hitting question on Fox. So why go there when you know that you will only get softballs thrown at you from the liberal broadcast networks and CNN? The pattern is clear. Obama doesn't want to be made accountable for his policies, so he stays away from the one network that might actually have the temerity to hold his feet to the fire.

I doubt if the American people will be fooled by this sleazy tactic. And besides, it seems that every time Obama shows his face on television his numbers go down. So fine. Let him go on those networks. In spite of his snub, the Fox News Network will continue it's dominant ratings, getting more viewers than it's competitors do combined. I know that this reality just kills the left, but it just makes me laugh.

Most Americans will be preoccupied by pro football on Sunday anyway. Obama will flail away on the broadcast networks and CNN. Meanwhile, I'll be having a backyard barbecue, drinking beer, and watching football. It doesn't get any better than that.

It will interesting to see how pathetic will be the ratings for those shows that will be carrying Obama. I am no expert on ratings, but I bet that football will beat out Obama hands down. And that's the way it should be. Football will beat Obama's lies and exaggerations and pandering any day of the week.

We have Fox News Channel, talk radio, and a very few newspapers such as the Washington Times and the Wall Street Journal editorial page on one side trying to show some objectivity. On the other side are broadcasters ABC, CBS, NBC and MSNBC, CNN, and PBS and NPR. Then throw in most newspapers including the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the LA Times. It's not a very level playing field is it? Yet somehow, in spite of the unfair advantage Obama gets from the liberal media, the American public still by and large gets it. Long live Fox News Channel and talk radio!

Video highlights from today's taxpayer tea party

Massive tea party descends on Wash. DC

A sea of protesters filled the west lawn of the Capitol and spilled onto the National Mall on Saturday in the largest rally against President Obama since he took office, a culmination of a summer-long season of protests that began with opposition to a health care overhaul and grew into a broader dissatisfaction with government.

Can you hear us now? Just look at that huge crowd in the video. People, I'm telling you. America just woke up. Barack Obama's days are numbered. The great Gingrich revolution of 1994 is going to look like peanuts by the time we get through with Obama and his lib friends. God bless America.

Never forget 9/11

Friday, September 11, 2009

We have come to another anniversary of that infamous date, September 1, 2001. I will never forget where I was that day when I got the news. I had the day off and I was sleeping late when my phone rang. It was a friend telling me that I had better turn on the news. Something big has happened. I guess he thought that I might not believe it if he just told me what happened, so he decided to let me see for myself.

Well, to say I was shocked would be an understatement. I found myself riveted to my TV set for the rest of the day. The global war on terror had been brought home to our shores and thousands of innocent Americans of all races and creeds had been slaughtered by the dark and evil force of Islamic extremism. The world would never be the same again. Now of course, Barack Obama won't even use the words "war on terror" anymore in his zeal to appease everything Muslim. But that is today's sad reality. Back then when it happened we actually had a President of the United States who vowed to take the war to the terrorists and to defeat them.

Under the stewardship of President George W. Bush we had many victories over Islamic terrorism. We routed their bases in Afghanistan and we dismembered the Taliban. We won many battles, but the war will go on for many years. Hopefully, in 2012 we can elect another president with the resolve to continue that brave fight against the terrorists who hate us and who wish to destroy us. But for the time being, with Obama in office, there will nothing but victories for extremism and terrorism. The one and only democracy in the Middle east, Israel, will find herself under ever increasing pressure due to Obama's inclination to favor the Islamic culture that he grew up in.

Oh what a tragedy it was to have this man elected to the high office of the presidency. We have a great and resilient nation. We survived the great depression (no thanks to FDR however.) We survived World War II. We survived our humiliation in Viet Nam when the liberals of that day forced us to withdraw from that war just when victory was in sight. Now let us all hope and pray that likewise we can survive four years of Barrack Obama.

Sarah Palin responds to Obama's lies

Thursday, September 10, 2009

Sarah Palin wasted no time in responding to Obama's irresponsible claim last night that the death panel story advanced by Governor Palin and others is a lie. The liberal media is all over Joe Wilson for calling Obama a liar last night during the speech, but actually Joe told the unadulterated truth. Obama not only lied himself, but he called Sarah Palin a liar. Yet where is the liberal media on that one? I guess it's OK to call Sarah Palin a liar if you are the media's darling Barack Obama. It's just disgusting.

Here is an excerpt from Sarah Palin's response to Obama published a few hours ago on her Facebook page.
In his speech the President directly responded to concerns I’ve raised about unelected bureaucrats being given power to make decisions affecting life or death health care matters. He called these concerns “bogus,” “irresponsible,” and “a lie” -- so much for civility. After all the name-calling, though, what he did not do is respond to the arguments we’ve made, arguments even some of his own supporters have agreed have merit.

In fact, after promising to “make sure that no government bureaucrat .... gets between you and the health care you need,” the President repeated his call for an Independent Medicare Advisory Council -- an unelected, largely unaccountable group of bureaucrats charged with containing Medicare costs. He did not disavow his own statement that such a group, working outside of “normal political channels,” should guide decisions regarding that “huge driver of cost ... the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives....”
http://tinyurl.com/32djv4

It's good that we have Governor Palin around to tell us the truth since we won't get it from the liberal media. CNN was even caught slanting an opinion poll with an inordinate amount of Democrats in order to make the poll come out more favorable to Obama. (Link) I find it gratifying that in less than thirteen hours 13,386 people have logged on to Facebook to say that they liked Governor Palin's comments. It is obvious that with the advent of such websites as Facebook and Twitter, the days of the deceptions of the liberal media are over. If you have a Facebook account I urge you to become a supporter of Sarah Palin so that you will be able to follow her frequent intelligent contributions to the national debate.

As Governor Plain pointed out in her article, Obama's health care plan will put life and death decisions in the hands of unelected and unaccountable government bureaucrats. One of their main functions will be to manage the cost of treatment for "the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives." If that's not a death panel then I don't know what is.

So let's be sure we have this straight. Joe Wilson called Obama a lair. That was a true statement. Obama called Sarah Palin a liar by saying that the death panel story put forth by Palin is a lie. Obama made a false statement. Now we know who the real lair is. It's disgusting that the real lair is indeed the President of the United States. Yet Joe Wilson showed dignity and grace by making a quick apology. Barack Obama, we are still waiting for your apology.

Rep. Joe Wilson told the truth

Rep. Wilson was right. Obama did lie. Under Barack Obama's government takeover of health care, illegal aliens will be put on the gravy train just like the other Democratic constituencies will.
Illegal immigrants will too get health insurance under the current Democratic proposals. They’re technically not eligible, maybe–but their eligibility probably won’t be verified. And Dems have rejected amendments to require verification. (Illegal immigrants aren’t technically eligible for jobs either, but they get them.)
http://tinyurl.com/lvlyrz

Obama and friends can say all they want that illegals won't be covered, but since there will be no verification of citizenship or legal residency required, the illegals will get in the back door and you and I will as usual be forced to foot the bill. So Joe Wilson was right, and he should be congratulated for standing up to a lying Barack Obama.

Of course, Rep. Wilson had to make his obligatory apology, but that doesn't matter. What matters is the truth, and Joe Wilson told the truth while Barack Obama lied.

It really hurts to have a lowdown liar like Barack Obama in the White House. Lets hope that we can change that in 2012.

Congressman warns of Obama's steps toward authoritarian gov't

Tuesday, September 8, 2009

I guess I'm not the only one who has been warning that Barack Obama's real goal is to establish a left wing dictatorship in this country. This video shows Glenn Beck's recent interview with Congressman Paul Brown where Mr. Brown outlines some very disturbing trends coming out of the Obama Administration. He points out three worrisome aspects of Obama's plans. First of all, Obama has advocated a civilian paramilitary force which he claims will help to fight terrorism. I am not comparing Obama to the Nazis, but nevertheless this reminds me of the Brownshirts who terrorized Germany in the name of the Nazi Party and carried out the dirty work necessary for Hitler to establish his dictatorship.

Secondly, Rep. Brown mentions Obama's support for gun control which would take away the right of the people to bear arms. Gun control is a necessary step on the road to dictatorship. Thirdly he outlines Obama's quest to control the media and silence conservative voices on talk radio. I'm sure that along the way they will also attempt to shut down blogs like this one.

This is a video that everyone should see. It brings up a very chilling scenario which we the American people must make sure will never happen if we want to preserve our cherished freedoms.

Glenn Beck statement on resignation of Van Jones

Sunday, September 6, 2009

The American people stood up and demanded answers. Instead of providing them, the Administration had Jones resign under cover of darkness. I continue to be amazed by the power of everyday Americans to initiate change in our government through honest questioning, and judging by the other radicals in the administration, I expect that questioning to continue for the foreseeable future.
http://tinyurl.com/ndxbuq

This just goes to show what people power can accomplish. And as Glenn said in his statement, he "expect(s) the questioning to continue." There are a lot more in that rat's nest that need to be cleared out.

Another support Glenn Beck website

I mentioned one support Glenn Beck website already in a previous blog post, Supportglennbeck.com. Now, here is another great website supporting Glenn, Defendglenn.com. This site has a very good synopsis of Glenn's victory over Van Jones. The site goes into great detail about some of the outrageous things that Jones has said and done. Plus there is much more on the site about what we the American people can do to support one of our heroes, Glenn Beck.

We won this battle but the war goes on. Now that we have shown our strength and determination by showing Jones the door, we can't drop the ball now. We need to expose the many more far left radicals who now call the Obama Administration home. Thank you Glenn Beck for putting up the good fight.

As usual, the draconian tactics of the forces who would silence Glenn beck and other Americans like him have backfired. Glenn's program is more popular than ever. All of the publicity over Glenn's successes against Van Jones will translate into even more ratings for Glenn. Just wait and see how he does during this coming week. He is already beating his competition two to one. Look for that to be closer to three to one in the coming days.

As I have said before, Glenn's ratings are really driving the left bonkers. If they are so good and if their message is so succinct, why do their champions on MSNBC get such low ratings? It must be obvious to all by now that the reason is that the American people don't buy all of that left wing clap trap that you get constantly on MSNBC. I think that eventually the execs at GE will catch on and get rid of the left wing firebrands on MSNBC and bring some common sense back to that network. Otherwise, the ratings at MSNBC will continue to go down while at the same time Fox News Channel thrives.

The American people have finally got it. Obama and his cohorts are on a steep downward slide, but we have to keep up the pressure. The people spoke loud and clear at those townhall meetings. Now that Congress is going back into session, we need to keep alive the momentum from the townhall meetings with emails and letters to members of Congress letting them know that we oppose a government takeover of health care and that we won't stand for political appointees like Van Jones poisoning the political discourse in this country.

Van Jones and Obama are soul mates

Friday, September 4, 2009

Obama green jobs czar Van Jones is a crazy lunatic fringe Marxist, so he should fit in quite well in the Obama Administration.

Here is a statement by the number three Republican in the House, Mike Pence.
Given recent revelations concerning the associations and statements of the president's green jobs czar, Van Jones should resign his position and if he is unwilling to do so, the president should demand his resignation. His extremist views and coarse rhetoric have no place in this Administration or the public debate.
http://tinyurl.com/mfa228

Of course, Mike Pence is 100% right. What is a whackjob who believes that 9/11 was carried out by a US government conspiracy doing in the Obama Administration? But wait, if Obama can be buddies with the likes of Reverend Wright then I guess that Van Jones should fit in quite nicely. In fact, Jones and Obama must be soul mates.

I wonder what Obama thought when Jones used an expletive to describe Republicans? Did he agree with that? I'll bet he did.

We have now received an obligatory apology and retraction from Jones, but it's too little too late. We already know that Jones is an America hating Marxist so anything that he might say now is irrelevant.

There are predictions from some quarters that Jones will now be forced to resign. If that happens, it will be pure politics and it won't mean that Obama does not agree with Jones. It will be similar to Obama's distancing himself from Revered Wright only because he had to for political reasons.

Discerning Americans are seeing right through Obama's smokescreen. The American people made a tragic mistake last November and by the time the next election rolls around it might be too late to do anything about it. Obama has already set the stage to indoctrinate the nation's school children with the speech he will be making to them next week. And that is only one small part of his insidious plan to transform America into a virtual dictatorship of the left much in the same way that Hugo Chavez is destroying Venezuela.

I am calling upon parents of school age children to keep their children home from school next Tuesday so that they won't have to be exposed to Obama's left wing propaganda. The parents should explain to their children that there is a plan afoot to destroy this country as we know it and let the Van Jones's of this world take over. I wonder if Mr. Jones is writing Obama's speech to the school children. LOL.

How low can Glenn Beck haters go?

Thursday, September 3, 2009

The viral posters that compared Obama to the Joker and to Hitler feel tame compared to the latest nasty meme to hit the Internet: insinuating that Glenn Beck raped and killed a young girl in 1990.
There you have it. It's not enough to attempt to organize a boycott of Glenn Beck's sponsors. Now some of Glenn's haters are spreading the false and libelous rumor that Glenn is a rapist and murderer. Just how low can these scumbags go? It's time for all fair minded Americans to stand up and say "enough is enough." Leave Glenn Beck alone and let him continue his broadcasting career without further interference. If you don't like Glenn or don't agree with him, fine. Don't watch his show. But don't try to deprive the millions of Americans who do watch and who have made Glenn's show one of the highest rated programs on cable and satellite TV.

Mount Vernon Wash. to award Glenn Beck key to the city

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Mount Vernon Washington is located in a very beautiful part of the country. You can take Highway 20 east from Mount Vernon and drive into the Cascade Mountain Range and to the North Cascades National Park. But Mount Vernon has another great distinction. It is the birth place of Fox News Channel talk show host Glenn Beck. And on September 26 the city will present Glenn with a key to the city in recognition of a local boy who has made good.

Of course, this is the same Glenn Beck whose ratings success has driven liberals bonkers. As we pointed out previously on this blog, Glenn's program has more viewers than the other cable news network shows in his time period combined. And to liberals who desire to drive all conservatives off from the airwaves, that just is unacceptable. So they have tried to organize an advertiser boycott of Glenn's program. But thankfully, the boycott isn't working. Glenn's program continues to be sold out, and his program gets more and more popular day by day.

What exactly did Glenn do to raise the ire of the lunatic left fringe? Well, he had the temerity to suggest that Jeremiah Wright's buddy Barack Obama is a racist. Never mind that George Bush was routinely called a racist and much worse. It's OK to say something like that about a Republican. But to the left, criticism of Obama is off limits.

Yes, Obama is a racist. Anyone who sat in church for many years listening to the racist rantings of Jeremiah Wright without doing anything about it has got to be sympathetic to Wright's racist views. Why else would Obama attend that church all those years? He didn't renounce Wright until he was forced to during the presidential campaign. Couple that with his appointment of a racist Latina to the US Supreme Court and you can see that Glenn Beck was 100% correct in calling Obama a racist. Good for you Glenn for telling it like it is.

Shouldn't Glenn be allowed to have his opinion and to express it, especially if he may be right? Isn't that the American way? Go ahead and disagree with Glenn if you want to, but don't try to shut him down just because you disagree with him. But that's typical of the left which is trying to silence any voices of dissent coming from conservative quarters. It's not enough that they totally control Washington D.C. They want to control out hearts and minds as well.

This is what is so scary about the left wing in this country. If you don't agree with their line, they try to shut you up. Such tactics go against everything that this country stands for, and folks, this is what we are up against.

We have an intransigent left wing that knows no compromise. They are hell bent upon turning this country into a leftist dictatorship where speech is strictly regulated. Welcome to Communist Venezuela. That is where we are headed.

All fair minded Americans must stand up and make it perfectly clear that we are not going to let the lunatic left fringe take over this country. Please patronize Glenn Beck's sponsors and thank them for advertising on Glenn's program. And if you haven't tuned into Glenn's program yet, please do. It's on weekdays at 5 PM EDT on Fox News Channel.

Stupid liberals

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

I just have to say this. There is just too much stupidity going around on the left. The following is a video made at a townhall meeting held by Democratic Representative Jim Moran. The video was shot by Hot Air TV special correspondent Jason Mattera. He pretended to ba an Obamacare supporter in order to get some very choice comments by some stupid uninformed liberals. Thank you Michelle Malkin for pointing me to this hilarious and telling video.

Be sure to wait fro the end of the video. The comments by that pony-tailed commune guy are hilarious.

This video shows very clearly what we are up against. Is there any hope for a country that is populated by people like that? I don't know. I guess we have to keep trying to make a difference. The future of our children and grandchildren is at stake.
