Governor Jan Brewer moves to protect the rule of law in Arizona.

Saturday, April 24, 2010

A significant step in the crusade to enforce our immigration laws and protect our borders has been made in Arizona when Arizona's fine and brave governor, Jan Brewer, signed Senate Bill 1070.
The bill I’m about to sign into law – Senate Bill 1070 – represents another tool for our state to use as we work to solve a crisis we did not create and the federal government has refused to fix … … The crisis caused by illegal immigration and Arizona’s porous border. This bill, the Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act, strengthens the laws of our state. It protects all of us, every Arizona citizen and everyone here in our state lawfully. And, it does so while ensuring that the constitutional rights of ALL in Arizona remain solid -- stable
and steadfast.
Of course the left is screaming like crazy about this bill, and of course the Mexican Government doesn't like it either. But all that does is tell me that it must be a good bill. If Mexico doesn't like it, there is a simple solution. Stop illegal immigration from their country into ours. But don't hold your breath on that one. Illegal aliens sending money that they earned in this country illegally back to Mexico is all that is keeping that country's pathetic economy afloat.

I will continue to call for passage of regulations which will stop anyone in this country illegally from sending any money out of the country. That in and of itself would go a long way toward solving the illegal alien problem.

70% of Arizona Voters Favor New State Measure Cracking Down On Illegal Immigration
The Arizona legislature has now passed the toughest measure against illegal immigration in the country, authorizing local police to stop and check the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being in the country illegally.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 70% of likely voters in Arizona approve of the legislation, while just 23% oppose it.
Arizonans, who are on the front lines of the immigration war, can rest easier tonight now that this tough and fair law has passed.

The Volcano

Saturday, April 17, 2010

This is just amazing. The power of mother nature can really be awesome. And who knows when or where something like this could happen again? I live in the path of a potential super volcano in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, which if it went off would make this volcano in Iceland look like a midget.

Obama is well on the way to destroying this once great country.

GINGRICH: Obama 'most radical president ever'

LIMBAUGH: Obama 'inflicting untold damage on this great country'

PALIN: Obama's Nuke Stance Like Kid Who Says 'Punch Me in Face'

LIZ CHENEY: Obama Putting America on 'Path to Decline'

HANNITY: Obama 'Is a Socialist'

Thank you Matt Drudge for encapsulating those links for us.

What I predicted right after the November 2008 election is happening. Obama and his radical socialist allies in Congress are hell bent on destroying this country and reducing it to third world status. They are well on the way to creating a permanent underclass dependent on the federal government for support. The principles that this country has stood for all these years are all being fettered away and there is nothing we can do about it at least until November of this year when we the people will have a chance to send the Democrats in Congress packing. But by then I fear it might be too late. The fix will already be in.

Can you believe it? It has got to the point where almost half of the US population doesn't even pay any income taxes. Yet at the same time the Democrats are talking about increasing taxes on upper income people. They are well on the way to redistributing income in this country and that is a sure sign of decay. When you start robbing Peter to pay Paul then the end is near.
About 47 percent will pay no federal income taxes at all for 2009. Either their incomes were too low, or they qualified for enough credits, deductions and exemptions to eliminate their liability. That's according to projections by the Tax Policy Center, a Washington research organization.
Half of the population gets a free ride while the rest of us have to pay. And by the way, whom do you think the freeloaders will be voting for? Of course, that's the whole idea. Create an underclass dependent on you for support and they will keep you in power with their votes. Folks, things are looking really bleak.
