Governor Jan Brewer moves to protect the rule of law in Arizona.

Saturday, April 24, 2010

A significant step in the crusade to enforce our immigration laws and protect our borders has been made in Arizona when Arizona's fine and brave governor, Jan Brewer, signed Senate Bill 1070.
The bill I’m about to sign into law – Senate Bill 1070 – represents another tool for our state to use as we work to solve a crisis we did not create and the federal government has refused to fix … … The crisis caused by illegal immigration and Arizona’s porous border. This bill, the Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act, strengthens the laws of our state. It protects all of us, every Arizona citizen and everyone here in our state lawfully. And, it does so while ensuring that the constitutional rights of ALL in Arizona remain solid -- stable
and steadfast.
Of course the left is screaming like crazy about this bill, and of course the Mexican Government doesn't like it either. But all that does is tell me that it must be a good bill. If Mexico doesn't like it, there is a simple solution. Stop illegal immigration from their country into ours. But don't hold your breath on that one. Illegal aliens sending money that they earned in this country illegally back to Mexico is all that is keeping that country's pathetic economy afloat.

I will continue to call for passage of regulations which will stop anyone in this country illegally from sending any money out of the country. That in and of itself would go a long way toward solving the illegal alien problem.

70% of Arizona Voters Favor New State Measure Cracking Down On Illegal Immigration
The Arizona legislature has now passed the toughest measure against illegal immigration in the country, authorizing local police to stop and check the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being in the country illegally.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 70% of likely voters in Arizona approve of the legislation, while just 23% oppose it.
Arizonans, who are on the front lines of the immigration war, can rest easier tonight now that this tough and fair law has passed.

Its ignorant people like you that make Arizona the most racist state in the country..... Bill 1070 will not stop border violence, drug traffic, or human smuggling.... the only thing this bill will lead to is Arizonas image being tarnished , and not to mention the Econimic collaps that will eventually follow soon after.... Learn your History.... This kinda thing happend during the 60s, a step back in the wrong direction.... Martin luther king, cesar chavez.... We have the law on our side.... Its unconstitutional and the bill will not reach law in three months.... Thankfully your ideology and others who share will soon realize that eventually you will be the minority in Arizona.... Leagal voting hispanic youth will lead to your ideology rotting and festering along with the racist hatefull generation who probably grew up during th 60s... angry old white racist americans ......... douche bag
Now let me know how you really feel, LOL.

That is just laughable. How is this bill racist? Illegal immigrants are of all races, not any particular one. This bill does not target any race. It targets people who are breaking the law.

Oh and by the way, I may disagree with you but I will not resort to name calling and personal attacks like you did.
In Arizona "REDNECK" justice will sink your State just as Apartheid sunk white supremacist in South Africa..you will eat the bread the devil knead..from now on until you beg foegiveness..With the Bigotry as your companion..you will have no friends..until you beg forgiveness..
Bigotry will find no shelter on Planet Earth..
Hey, this is not about bigotry. It is about enforcing our immigration laws.

And as far as friends go, I have lots of friends. As I said in my OP, 70% of Arizonans support this law and a majority of legal Hispanic residents also support it.
