A travesty

What has Barack Obama done to deserve the Noble Peace Prize? In my opinion, nothing. Heck, he has only been in office for nine months. But then we have to realize where this is coming from.
The committee that decides who wins this prize is from socialist Norway. Need I say more? You know that they would have never given the prize to a true American patriot such as President George W. Bush. But Obama is going around apologizing for past American foreign policy. He has buddied up with Hugo Chavez and he has stabbed democracy in Honduras in the back. Of course, he is also very strongly anti Israel. So of course the socialists from Norway love him.
So now Obama joins the likes of Al Gore and Jimmy Carter is winning the infamous prize. That puts Obama in nefarious company where he belongs. Then we get to hear his bullshit about how he is "both honored and humbled to win the Nobel Peace Prize." Excuse me while I barf.
I am going to laugh when this debacle backfires on Obama politically. The American people will see this for the fraud that it is. And this fits right in with Obama's main job description since his total existence as a politician is a fraud.

Instead, the prize risks looking preposterous in its claims, patronising in its intentions and demeaning in its attempt to build up a man who has barely begun his period in office, let alone achieved any tangible outcome for peace.

Carter received a Nobel prize as well and we survived Carter in order to get Reagan. This is a fine example of history repeating itself. Wishful thinking, anyway.
