Israel's raid was justified

Now the Israel haters are out in full force with false outrage over Israel's defensive raid of a ship headed for Gaza containing anti Israel activists and for all we know terrorists on the way to attack Israel.
Well, there you have it. The Israeli commanders acted in self defense. All supporters of the brave and free State of Israel need to stand up in support of Israel at this time as her enemies attempt to exploit this incident in an attempt to destroy Israel.
I call upon the Obama Administration to affirm the historic strong bipartisan support of Israel which has been a hallmark of American foreign policy for the past sixty years.
It is a well known fact that terrorists will use any and all means to get at Israel. It is by no means a stretch of imagination to assume that any ship containing a boatload of Palestinian "activists" might have hostile intentions against Israel. And this is borne out by the fact that occupants of the boat which the Israeli defense forces boarded viciously attacked the Israeli commandos, perpetrating a defensive response from the Israelis.
As far as I'm concerned, those so-called activists got what was coming to them. Next time perhaps they will treat Israeli defense forces with a more respect.

An Israeli military spokesman said some of the commandos were equipped with paintball guns but the non-lethal weapons were not enough against activists who charged in with batons.
"They had pistols with live ammunition as back-up, to defend themselves," he said.
One of the commandos told reporters he descended by rope from a helicopter onto one of the six ships in the convoy and was immediately attacked by a group of people waiting for them.
"They beat us with metal sticks and knives," he said. "There was live fire at some point against us."

Some of the soldiers were tossed from the top deck to a lower deck by the activists, and jumped in the water to save themselves, he said.

Activists grabbed soldiers and tried to hold them hostage, stripping them of their helmets and equipment, he said. About 30 activists, all speaking Arabic, carried out the attack, he said.
